Gardaí arrest man with knife in Cootehill

A man has been arrested after being found in possession of a knife in Cootehill.

Gardaí responded to reports of an incident in the town this afternoon and the man is reported to have been found close to the scene.

The man, who's in his 40s, was arrested by Gardaí and taken to Bailieborough Garda Station for questioning. There are no reports of injuries.
