Gardaí appeal for witnesses to fatal N54 collision

Gardai are continuing to appeal for witnesses to a collision on the N54 in Cavan that claimed the life of a man in his 40s.

The road traffic collision occurred on the N54 at Plush in Cloverhill at 10:45pm on Saturday night. A pedestrian, a male in his 40s, was fatally injured when he was struck by a car. The driver of the car, a man aged in his 20s, was uninjured. The road reopened yesterday evening.

Any road users who may have camera footage, including dash-cam, who were travelling in the area between 10:30am and 11:00pm are asked to make this footage available to Gardaí. You should call Cavan Garda Station or the confidential line.
