Gardaí are this morning appealing for witnesses after a crash in Cavan claimed the life of a man in his 20s. This crash happened just before five o'clock yesterday evening on the N3 at New Inns in Ballyjamesduff.
The man in his 20s, who was the driver and sole occupant of the car, collided with a lorry. Nobody else was injured in the incident.
The road remains closed this morning with diversions in place as a technical exam of the scene is carried out. Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have seen the crash, or who has dash-cam footage, to come forward.
