Gardai in Castleblayney, who are currently investigating a serious traffic collision that occurred on Monday evening, the 8th August 2022 just after 9pm in the Ballybay area, are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
They are particularly interested in the movements of a silver VW Passat that was involved in the collision.
Gardai are asking anyone who saw the vehicle between 8pm and 9.30pm to come forward.

They are also asking anyone with dashcam footage that might assist the investigation to contact Castleblayney Garda Station on 042 9747900.
Meanwhile, GSOC is investigating potential garda involvement in the crash.
A number of people were injured and taken to hospital for treatment.
