Gardaí in Co Monaghan are appealing for information following a number of recent burglaries across the local area. In Carrickmacross a burglary took place in the Crann Nua estate during the day of Wednesday the 11th of October. An un-occupied home was forcibly entered and a number of items were stolen. Gardaí in Carrickmacross are continuing to investigate the matter and are appealing to anyone who witnessed anything suspicious in the Crann Nua area on October 11th to get in touch.
Elsewhere, Gardaí are appealing for information following a burglary in Castleblayney. During the day of Thursday the 19th of October, between 7am and 8.30pm a home in the Killycard area was forcible entered and again, a number of items were stolen. People are asked to contact Castleblayney Garda Station if you have any information on this matter which may assist the investigating Gardaí.
