The Garda Community Engagement Van will be in several locations in Cavan today.
The bespoke Garda vehicles act as a mobile policing service in rural areas and provide opportunities for members of the public to come in, sit down and meet with members.
Anyone who has forms to complete, queries for Gardaí, reports or any other concerns that officers can assist with are encouraged to come along to one of the Cavan stop points today.
Gardaí on board will also have leaflets on crime prevention, personal safety, farm security and other useful information.
The van stops off first in Ballinagh Community Centre car park from 8:30 a.m until 10 a.m.
After that it will call in to Kilnaleck, Stradone, Redhills and Belturbet.
