Day-to-day Garda checkpoints will be continuing across the region as Gardaí
step up the enforcement of Covid-19 regulations.
Gardaí yesterday announced they're to step up patrols and checkpoints as
part of the country's response to the virus
It's after an increase in the number of cases recorded over the last week
and fears the country's response may be set back.
Cavan-Monaghan Chief Superintendent Aidan Glackin has praised people and
businesses for their response in recent weeks but warned Gardaí will be
enforcing the restrictions.
And he urged people not to take chances when getting behind the wheel:
