Subscriptions for GAAGO more than double as high profile games move behind paywall.
The subscriptions for the joint streaming venture of GAA and RTÉ jumped by 118 per cent to €4.9 million last year.
GAAGO was met with criticism to its accessibility after it announced that top games would be put behind a paywall. The move has proved lucrative for the streaming service as its overall revenue, after sponsorship income, totaled to €5.2 million.
