The funeral will take place later this afternoon of well-known musician Barry Mohan.
The Aughnacloy man who is part of the popular 'All Folk'd Up' music group lost his life during the early hours of Monday morning following a fatal road traffic collision on the Monaghan Road, Middletown close to the Monaghan/Armagh border.
Barry's remains are reposing at his home until removal this morning at 11.00am for 12 noon Requiem Mass in St Mary's Church, Aughnacloy.
Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
Paying tribute to the talented musician, Cllr Brian McKenna said he knew Barry and his late father Declan, who also lost his life following a road accident in 2007.
Speaking to Northern Sound, Cllr McKenna said his thoughts are with the entire Mohan family, and in particular Barry's mother who is originally from Emyvale.
"It's an absolute tragedy.. What Barry's mother is trying to cope with at this moment is just unbearable to think of, the fact she lost her husband in a road accident and now Barry who was a great lad and a great musician," he said.
"It's just so sad. My prayers and sympathies are certainly with the family at this very sad time."
