The funeral mass of a 17 year old who died tragically in a workplace incident in Co Cavan last week will take place today. Reece Donohoe from Upper Main Street, Kilnaleck, died following an incident at the Wilton Waste recycling facility at Kifagh, near Ballyjamesduff, on Thursday afternoon shortly after 4.30pm.
The late Mr Donohoe has been described by those who knew him as a "sweet lad" who always has a "beautiful smile." Local Fine Gael Councillor Trevor Smith described what had happened as a terrible tragedy and said the local community was in shock following the terrible news. The funeral mass of the late Reece Donohoe will take place later this morning at St Patrick's Church, Kilnaleck, at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in Kill Cemetery.
