The funeral of Adam McCormick, who died after getting into difficulty in a north Monaghan lake, will take place later today.
The 14 year-old was airlifted to Temple Street Children's Hospital following reports of a suspected drowning incident at Hollywood Lake on Sunday.
He was pronounced dead at the Dublin hospital the following day, and was one of four local fatalities in waterways last week.
His funeral procession will leave his grandparents' home at 2:40 to arrive to St. Mary's Chapel, Threemilehouse for funeral mass at three o'clock.
Adam will be laid to rest beside his uncle Gary, who died in a crash in 2006.
He was a student of St Macartan's College and the school has expressed "profound sadness" at his passing.
