The funeral details of a father of one who died in a road traffic collision near Finea on the Cavan-Westmeath border have been announced.
Dean Wearen, who was from Kells, Co.Meath died when the quad he was riding collided with a motorbike at Ballynascarry over the weekend. He was pronounced dead at the scene, while the passenger of the quad was taken to Midland Regional Hospital Tullamore with non-life threatening injuries. While the rider of the motorbike, a man in his 30s, was taken to the Mater Hospital, where he remains in a critical condition. Dean Wearen will repose at Muldoon's Funeral Home, Bective Square, Kells on Friday from 5pm to 8pm.
Removal on Saturday morning from his grandfather's home, Rockfield, to St Colmcille's Church, Kells for 11am funeral mass, burial afterwards in St Colmcille's Cemetery.
