The funeral arrangements have been announced for Michael McGirr.
A search operation was launched to find Michael after he went missing on Lough Erne on October 29th, when he was believed to be heading towards Inish Davar island on a fishing boat.
A post on the Search for Michael McGirr Facebook group, set up to coordinate the local community search confirmed the 29-year-old had been found on Saturday last.
The search had received massive support locally, with many members of the community coming out to help, combing the lough’s shore and getting out onto the water, with others travelling from outside the county to also aid the efforts.
A major multi-agency search was launched, including the police, Coast Guard, RNLI, and Rescue 116 helicopter.
Michael is reposing at his home Pubble, Tempo, Co.Fermanagh until 9.00 pm tonight.
Michael’s removal will take place on Wednesday at 10. 30 am to St. Joseph's Church, Cradien, Derryhillagh Road, Enniskillen for mass at 11.00 am followed by interment in Cross Cemetery , Irvinestown Road, Enniskillen.
