Funding of just over €18,000 has been announced for eight local festivals and summer schools.
It’s part of national funding of over €122,000 to assist in the further development and promotion of Ireland’s cultural tourism product.
Arts Minister Catherine Martin congratulated the successful groups and added that she hopes the attendees will enjoy the events.

A maximum grant of €5,000 was available, with seven groups from Cavan and one from Monaghan benefiting locally.
Local TD Brendan Smith welcomed the funding approval Minister Martin TD and said it will provide “some help in meeting the substantial costs in hosting these important community events”.
