Funding has been made available for towns and villages in Cavan to go towards the cost of Christmas lights this year. The Christmas Lights Grant Scheme provides financial assistance to groups and organisations to meet some of the costs of the provision of Christmas lights and/or Christmas Tree. The emphasis of the scheme is on providing funding for a diverse range of projects thus ensuring that the limited financial resources available are used to the maximum benefit of the community at large. Grants awarded will be a minimum of €300 and a maximum of €1,500.

Online applications must be completed by the Chairperson, Secretary, or Treasurer of the community group. Closing date for receipt of applications is Friday, 6 December 2024 at 5pm.
