Cavan's NYAH Traditional Music Festival is set to receive a grant of €4,500.
The group and festival are well known across the region for their work in promoting Irish music and culture.
The funding has been allocated under the Small Local Festivals and Summer Schools Scheme and has been welcomed by Business Minister Heather Humphreys.

She said the Festival is a worthy recipient of the funding as it makes a huge contribution to the vibrant culture heritage of Cavan and the wider region.
