Funding announced for purchase of second Crocus transport vehicle

Funding has been announced for the purchase of a second transport vehicle for Crocus Monaghan.

The announcement by Minister Heather Humphreys this afternoon comes just days after the group unveiled their first vehicle which had been bought through fundraising efforts.

€37,641 is going to cancer support service for the purchase of a seven seater vehicle, and is part of a €120,000 allocation for County Monaghan under Clár.

Full details of the €1.6 million investment in transport services across the country will be published next week.

Making the announcement outside the Crocus Centre in Monaghan, Minister Humphreys she was delighted to be able to provide some support.
