A community group that looks after the Christmas lights in Bailieborough in County Cavan have set up a go fund me page.
The aim of the fundraiser is to make sure that the costs involved in lighting up the town over the festive period are covered.
With less than 6 weeks to go until the big day, the group of 30 people have already raised over 8,000 euros from their fundraising initiative.
