A dozen front-line healthcare workers are skydiving on Sunday in aid of mental health supports in Cavan and Monaghan.
The team is made up of nurses from Cavan General Hospital's emergency department and National Ambulance Service staff. They'll be jumping from 13,000 feet to give something back to the community.
The organisers says they've seen first-hand the impact the past year has had on young people in the locality, and they want to return the support they got at the start of the pandemic.
All funds raised from the charity event are going towards Sosad offices in Cavan and Monaghan, and a link to the fundraising page can be found here.
