Frontline healthcare workers in Cavan and Monaghan have raised over €10,000 from a charity skydive.
Last month the twelve person team, made up of nurses from Cavan General Hospital's emergency department and National Ambulance Service staff, jumped from 13,000 feet to give something back to the community.
They said that over the past year they saw the impact the pandemic had on the region's young people, and they wanted to return the support that was shown to healthcare staff.
A total of €10,150 was raised for SOSAD offices in Cavan and Monaghan.
