A free ERP Ireland electrical goods recycling drop off event will take place in Co Monaghan today.
The drop-off takes place at Lidl Car Park, North Road, Monaghan until 4pm this afternoon.
People are being advised to dispose of household electrical items with a plug or battery including TVs, washing machines, IT equipment, stereos and mobile phones.
The event provides everyone with an opportunity to do their bit for the environment while de-cluttering their home at the same time.
It is also advised that used batteries be brought along for recycling which is supporting the Batteries for Barretstown cause.
