Free counselling sessions have been ringfenced for people living in Cavan and Monaghan
Turn2Me, a leading national mental health charity has announced it will be offering up to six free counselling sessions to adults living in Cavan and Monaghan. It has been made possible thanks to funding secured through HSE Connecting for Life Cavan Monaghan. This initiative aims to provide online counselling support for people living in the two counties, ensuring that help is accessible to those who need it most.
The funding from HSE Connecting for Life Cavan Monaghan will enable Turn2Me to reach a wider audience, offering free online professional counselling sessions to adults who may be struggling with issues such as anxiety, depression, stress, and other mental health challenges. The service will be available to anyone over the age of 18, and the sessions will be conducted by qualified and experienced mental health professionals.
Fiona O'Malley, CEO of Turn2Me says mental health issues do not discriminate based on geography, adding that they are committed to providing accessible mental health services to everyone, regardless of where they live. She said this funding allows the charity to extend their reach to Cavan and Monaghan
