A free Concert is taking place in Mullagh this evening as part of the continued celebrations that's underway for the return of St Kilian's relics.
Organisers says due to anticipated demand the concert will be shown on the big screen in the marquee beside St. Kilian's. Last night in Mullagh saw the arrival of the relics of St. Kilian and his companions.
The night involved into singing and planting of an oak tree at Kilian’s Well, the torches carried along the way for the arrival of Ss Kilian, Totnan, and Kolonat at Mullagh lake, followed by the liturgy in the church.
People from across the world have descended on Co Cavan this weekend for this special occasion. A public veneration event is taking place all day and the concert is taking place at 8pm.
