Free car parking for festive period begins across Cavan and Monaghan

Free car parking spaces from now until the New Year have been announced for Cavan and Monaghan.

Both county councils have said the move will support local business and encourage people to shop local this Christmas,

Cavan County Council is making all off street parking free in Cavan Town in the build up to the festive period.

While Monaghan County Council will offer free parking in Monaghan Town will be in place until the 2nd January 2023.
