4,000 children will be homeless this Christmas.
That's according to Department of Housing figures which also show of the 1,939 families in emergency accommodation, 1,107 were one parent families.
13-thousand 179 people were homeless in October - the highest number ever.
Focus Ireland Director of Advocacy, Mike Allen described the figures as a disgrace.
