Four men arrested in connection with the robbery of a mobile phone shop in Cavan Town, have been remanded in custody.
The shop on Main Street was burgled at around 3:45am on Thursday, March 14th.
Three men, two aged in their 20s and the third an adult male aged in his late teens, were arrested in connection with the burglary and were all charged to appear before a sitting of Monaghan District Court yesterday.
Three of the men were charged in relation to the burglary while all four were charged with possession of certain articles. Following the hearing in Monaghan all the defendants were remanded in custody in Cloverhill Prison under the theft of fraud offences act. They are due to appear in court again, likely by video link, on Wednesday 3rd April.
