A local Senator says he's delighted that talks are due to commence aimed at
ending a dispute over pay and working conditions for school secretaries and
caretakers.
The Fórsa union has accepted an invitation from the Workplace Relations
Commission to attend fresh negotiations with the Department of Education.
Industrial action that had been planned for later this month by school
secretaries has been deferred as a result.
