A former resident of direct provision in Monaghan has asked the Department of Justice to move her back to the county to allow her complete a training course.
Tarranna Hoque from Bangladesh lived in the M Hotel in Magheracloone for over a year.
The hotel is being used as emergency accommodation due to the number of people claiming asylum has risen.
She had been studying for a level five qualification in healthcare with CMETB but claims she is now unable to complete it as she has been moved to Moate in Co Westmeath.
She had hoped to receive the qualification to begin working in the healthcare sector.
The Department of Justice has been contacted for comment.
