Former Japanese Prime Minister, Shinzo Abe, has died after being shot while delivering a campaign speech.
Public broadcaster NHK has confirmed his death following the attack in the western city of Nara overnight.
A 41-year-old man, who's a former member of the country's self-defence forces has been arrested.
