The former Chair of the Young Greens says she won't be "jumping into" another political party.
On Friday evening, Monaghan's Tara Gilsenan announced that she was leaving the party with immediate effect because of continued conflict with other representatives and a lack of communication on issues.
When she was elected to the position last month, the Castleshane native said she wanted to try and bring change to how the Greens operated.
The Chair of Queer Greens and a Cork Councillor are among the other members to have tendered their resignation over the weekend.
Tara said her focus going forward will be to follow the path of her fellow former Green Party member Saoirse McHugh.
