The Good Friday Agreement could not have happened without John Hume.
That’s according to Caoimhghín Ó Caoláin, a former Cavan-Monaghan TD who was also a member of the Sinn Féin negotiating team in the lead up to the Good Friday Agreement.
The former Sinn Féin TD described Hume as a very committed and driven man, who will be remembered as a “titan of his time”.
