A former Cavan Fianna Fail councillor, who has Parkinson's, says he is disappointed that his vaccine appointment was cancelled yesterday.
Paddy Conaty was due to receive the Astra Zeneca vaccine at Drogheda's Institute of Further Education but the change of recommendations from NIAC saw the appointment cancelled the night before.
While, he says he is a practical man and understands the caution, he stated that he would have been happy to take the vaccine regardless.
