Some homeowners in the Belturbet area are still without power following the storm at the weekend. It's the fourth time that people in Belturbet have been without power for two or more days in the past year.
Nationally, 15,000 homes and businesses are waiting to have power restored to their property, 4,000 of which are in the north-west. ESB area manager Jarlath Doyle told the Joe Finnegan Show earlier that crews have been contracted from Northern Ireland and beyond to assist local crews to restore power as quickly as possible.
Local people say power lines running through forestry is one reason for the regular disruption and the delay in restoring power each time.
