Fixed payment notices issued on N3 in Cavan for speeding and dangerous driving

Several fixed payment notices were issued for speeding, dangerous driving, and continuous crossing of the white lines on the N3 in Cavan yesterday morning.

Images shared by Cavan gardaí show motorists driving at speeds of close to 140 kilometres per hour.

Cavan Roads Policing Unit have said they will continue to focus on the N3 in the run-up to Christmas.

They say this is in an effort to slow down traffic and to improve on driving habits.
