The nurse who became the first person on the island of Ireland to receive the Pfizer Bio-N-tech vaccine has urged everyone to avail of it when given the opportunity to do so.
Joanna Sloan is the Sister in charge of the vaccine roll-out in the Belfast Health and Social Care Trust and is aiming to vaccinate all care home residents in the North by Christmas.
However, she warns that we are "by no means through with the pandemic" and says it will be many months before mass vaccination is achieved.
Joanna was filmed receiving the vaccine and said she was "anxious" about what some people who are against vaccines may say online.
However, she told Shannonside Northern Sound that "every rigorous protocol that needs to happen for a vaccine to be approved has been done":
