The business, pub and music community in Clones are putting final preparations together for the first Clones Féile happening across this coming weekend. Tully and Mick Foster play in the Creighton Hotel on Friday night, there's an afternoon of music at the Canal Stores on Saturday and kids can dance along to a Brazilian Tom Tom band.
And although there will be a focus on trad and folk music with sessions going on in venues throughout the town, Cllr Richard Truell told Northern Sound there is something for all the family at this festival.
For anyone wondering whether to go to along to Clones this weekend, Cllr Truell said it's worth noting that locals would be following in the footsteps of Bob Dylan. The music icon visited Clones during the 1964 All-Ireland Fleadh. Cllr Truell has encouraged those near and far to attend this weekend's event.
