Virginia Fire Service is being praised for giving up their time to help remove graffiti from a local church.
At the end of last month, as Lurgan parish Church celebrated its 200th anniversary, spray-painted messages were discovered on some of the church walls.
Venerable Canon Craig McAuley previously told Northern Sound News it probably a "moment of mindlessness" in retaliation to previous graffiti being removed, and ruled out a sectarian motive.
In a post on Facebook, the church group thanked the local fire crew who came out on Monday evening to clear the markings from the grounds.
