Fines for speeding issued by Gardaí in Cavan

Members of the Cavan Roads Policing Unit carried out a number of speed checks over the weekend. The checks were carried on the N3. As a result of the operation, a number of drivers were detected driving in excess of the 100 kmph speed limit

According to Gardaí reports, one driver was caught travelling at a speed of 140 kilometres per hour, whilst another was caught travelling at 139 kilometres per hour. Fixed payment notices were issued to all drivers on behalf of the Cavan Roads Policing Unit.
