Gardaí in Clones stated that it's "not ok" for drivers to just to pop into a shop or any facility for "a minute" without consideration for other road users.

Gardaí in Co Monaghan have expressed their concerns over what they described as the "reckless abandonment" of a vehicle. The incident occurred in Clones outside of the local SuperValu Store earlier this week. According to Gardaí, a car was parked in front of a pedestrian crossing and a short distance from a busy intersection controlled by traffic lights.

As a result of the incident, a fixed penalty notice was issued to the car in question with Gardaí stating that the driver had "no consideration for other road users." Meanwhile, Gardaí are encouraging motorists to please "respect parking restrictions" as they have a purpose.
