Today is the final day for submission on the proposed temporary weekend pedestrianisation of Main Street, Cavan.
The aim of this is to facilitate outdoor activities during summer 2021 and will see the street become pedestrian only from the junction of Church Street and Thomas Ashe Street to the junction of Connolly Street and College Street.
This designation will be in place on Fridays and Saturdays from 6pm to midnight, and on Sundays from 3pm to 9pm during the months of June, July, August, and September only.
County Council welcomes feedback from members of the public and submissions should be marked 'Temporary Pedestrianisation'.
Today is the closing date for any feedback with more details available on the Cavan County Council website or by phoning the offices.
