Fermanagh firm Encirc is to invest around €970,000 to develop the skills of employees at its Derrylin site.
Derrylin-based Encirc specialises in glass container design, manufacturing, and logistics solutions for the food and drink sector.
Between the Derrylin plant and its sister plant in Cheshire, Encirc accounts for more than 35% of container glass for Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland, and British markets.
Adrian Curry, the Managing Director of Encirc, says employees will be trained in innovative ways, such as using virtual reality and software to learn how to operate glass production lines.
The North's regional economic development agency, Invest Northern Ireland, has offered the company €260,000 towards the up-skilling of its team, which includes strategic advice on the skills best suited to the company's needs.
