Farmers have been protesting outside supermarkets in Cavan Town to highlight increases in input costs.
Local IFA pig and poultry farmers are protesting to secure an increase in product prices in order to offset these increased input costs.
Carrickmacross farmer and IFA Poultry Chair, Andy Boylan, says the cost increases are at a "rate not seen in half a generation".
He warned that farmers are facing a "pandemic of bird flu" and explained what he's seeking on behalf of poultry farmers:
