For many Multisound in Cavan is such a loved business and will also hold a special place in their hearts for generations to come.
Last month it was announced that the store on the main street in Cavan after 36 years was closing its doors.
The closure has been described as an end of an era by many who has fond memories. A 'Farewell to Multisound' concert is set to be held in response to the closure on Cavan's Main Street this Saturday afternoon from 3.30pm.
One of the organisers, Kevin Meehan who is behind this major event says it is a way to thank Noel and the team for so many years of wonderful service down through the years. Kevin says locals have so many memories, be it queuing up for tickets to their first concerts, their first CD or their first record. He says this concert will allow so many be it the customers or the musicians to just thanks and everyone is invited.
