Failte Ireland, in partnership with local stakeholders, is developing a Destination & Experience Development Plan for the Upper Shannon, Shannon-Erne, and Border area. This will be a five-year tourism destination plan for Cavan, Leitrim and North Roscommon, as part of the development of the Ireland’s Hidden Heartlands region.
The draft Plan is currently out for public consultation until the 21st November. Locals are encouraged to view the plans which are available at a number of locations in Co Cavan. These locations include; Blacklion Tourist Office, The Market House, Blacklion, Johnston Central Library in Cavan and the Farnham Centre also in Cavan.
