Fáilte Ireland is set to expand "Ireland's Hidden Heartlands" to include all of Co Cavan.
Previously, the county was divided into different brands, with west Cavan under the Hidden Heartlands umbrella and east Cavan under the Ancient East brand.
Fáilte Ireland says its Hidden Heartlands brand is "centred around rural communities and their lifestyles, as well as the many spaces for adventure and relaxation in the region".
The move has been welcomed by local TDs.
Niamh Smyth is the Chairperson of the Oireachtas Committee on Tourism and says the comprehensive brand review will promote the county in a more cohesive way.
Alongside Cavan, Westmeath, Offaly and part of Tipperary will now sit within the Hidden Heartlands brand.
Prior to this, part of each county were in the Ancient East brand.
