A six-month extension to outdoor dining legislation for pubs and restaurants will help "create a great vibe and atmosphere".
That's according to local councillor and publican Raymond Aughey, after the government approved plans to allow outdoor dining to remain for the summer season.
Introduced last July, the temporary covid laws were brought in to allow pubs and restaurants serve alcohol on the street in designated seating areas.
It expires on May 31st but is set to be extended until the end of November.
