Developers behind plans for 129 houses in Carrickmacross have been granted an extension to its planning permission.
Moffett Investments Holdings Ltd was originally granted approval in 2015 but this has now been extended to 2025.
Almost 130 new homes are planned for the site on the Kingscourt Road in Carrickmacross in a mix of three, four and five bed terrace and semi-detached houses.
A crèche and associated site works are also planned.
Moffett Investment Holdings Ltd was originally granted planning in 2015 by Monaghan County Council but this was due to expire last year.
It applied for an extension, which was granted by the local authority last week.
The developers say work began at the site in 2018 and are expected to be complete by May 2025.
