Monaghan Co Council has initiated a process of information gathering in relation to the new business park to be developed in the Annahagh area of Monaghan Town. The development was discussed at a recent meeting of the local authority.
Chief Executive Robert Burns told the meeting that the Council had started to see expressions of interest in relation to the Annahagh lands and this process would remain open until February 14th. He said they are trying to understand what the demand is for enterprise lands within the town.
Speaking at the meeting, Mr Burns said "Our vision is for a high-quality, campus-style development, a modem business park." He added that the preference would be around industrial activity such as advanced manufacturing and engineering.
