EV charging points have been installed in Ballybay and one Monaghan Councillor has highlighted the progressiveness of the move. Cllr Seamus Coyle says necessary works have been completed and the EV points are now fully operational at the car park along the town's main street.
Cllr Coyle pointed to the Executive of Ballybay-Clones Municipal District and said it was to be "commended" on the work. It was carried out in partnership with Easygo and the local area representative says the move has delivered upon "essentials in a world of environmental consciousness".
He added that the need for the EV charging points has been highlighted by the Ballybay Regeneration Committee and Ballybay Town Team for a lengthy period and it is hoped that this will be "one of many" new projects for Ballybay.
