217 customers are currently without power in the Ballyconnell area with an estimated restoration time of 2pm this afternoon.

ESB Telecoms Limited are seeking permission to replace an existing 20m high wooden structure with a 24 metre high lattice structure at the ESB Substation on Church Street.

Power was restored to all affected customers by 20:30.

ESB say "almost all" customers in Cavan impacted by weather-related outages have had their power restored.

ESB say they expect to have power restored to all impacted customers by around 5 o'clock this evening. 

Those affected are a mixture of customers who lost power during storm Isha and Jocelyn.

Many customers remain without power as a result of storms Isha and Jocelyn
